Pasteur pipets are used to transfer small quantities of liquids and are ideal for rapid non-volumetric work in bacteriology, immunology, hematology, serology studies, blood bank and clinical chemistry procedures. They are constructed of either soda lime (flint) glass or borosilicate glass and require a rubber bulb at the top for suction.
